COVID-19

Update

March 19, 2020

 

The health and safety of our clients and staff will always be of utmost importance, therefore we would like update you on the status of our day-to-day operations.

As of Thursday, March 19th, 2020:

  • We will be temporarily suspending all cleaning, sizing, and repair work as we have be forced to scale back our staff in order to be in compliance with the CDC and Federal government recommendations.

  • Our showrooms will be closed until further notice in order to promote social distancing as per CDC recommendations to help manage the spread of COVID-19.

  • All virtual sales (via phone and/or email) will continue to be in operations.

We will continue to closely monitor the situation with guidance from the CDC and local public health agencies. We will be hoping to resume operations on Monday, April 6th, 2020. All dates and actions are subject to change, and we will keep you informed if they do.

We are currently diverting many of our resources to getting our New Online Store up and running as soon as possible in order to help facilitate your jewelry needs.

 

This is uncharted territory for us all, but we are committed to making decisions that in the best interest of our clients, staff and community. We are here for you, and we believe the best way to get through this is together.

In order to help slow the growth of the COVID-19 Pandemic and remain in compliance with CDC recommendations, we will be limiting the amount of appointments we can accommodate per day. Thus, we have disabled our online appointment schedule portal and will only be scheduling appointments via email at sales@baidajewelry.com or by phone at (213) 623-3780 and (213) 623-4087

We apologize for the inconvenience, but hope with these precautionary measures we will be able to mitigate the spread of the virus and keep our clients and staff safe.

As you are likely following the COVID-19 news, we want to provide you with an update on our course of action. We are monitoring the dynamic situation and will continue to follow the advice and guidance of federal and state officials and health agencies.

Baida Jewelry's highest priority is the health and safety of our clients and staff, therefore we are taking the following precautions:

  • Additional routine cleaning and sanitizing of surfaces, doors, and gemological tools (loupes, tweezers, etc.)

  • Routine air sanitizing with CDC-recommended disinfecting sprays.

  • Hand sanitizing stations readily available for customers

Additionally, Baida Jewelry will be recommending and practicing social distancing in order to mitigate the spread of the virus. Thus, we will be spreading out appointments throughout the day in order to reduce the volume of individuals in our showroom at any one time.

If you do not feel comfortable visiting our showroom, we will be continuing our virtual sales via email and/or phone in order to alleviate any fears or concerns you may have.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those who are affected by the virus, especially with those who have lost loved ones. We are all in this together and we must all do our part to stop this pandemic.
